The First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) is the leading nationwide public safety broadband network. FirstNet is authorized by the U.S. Congress and utilized by first responders to allow advanced interdepartmental collaboration. FirstNet builds and operates a nationwide, broadband communication network that equips first responders to save lives and protect U.S. communities. AT&T FirstNet has enabled priority and pre-emption on the current network and is completing the nationwide Band 14 build-out to strengthen this critical system.

BearCom’s FirstNet specialists work directly with AT&T, Motorola Solutions and other FirstNet partners to implement solutions designed to improve wireless communications for emergency response teams. Our team is at the forefront of the FirstNet technologies that enable Public Safety communications. In addition to providing APX P25 Public Safety two-way radios using ASTRO 25 infrastructure from Motorola Solutions, we also offer the LEX L11 operations-critical LTE unit for first responder voice and data communications. The LEX L11 is a FirstNet Ready™ certified LTE device that is Band 14 and enhanced push-to-talk capable.
