Clear audio is essential for two-way radio communication. The MOTOTRBO™ R2 boasts advanced noise suppression, with SINC+, to eliminate background noise.

High receiver sensitivity and selectable audio profiles are designed with the user in mind to ensure you’ll hear and be heard.

The MOTOTRBO™ R2 is built to last and thrive in harsh conditions. It weighs less than 11 ounces, making it easy to carry in a pocket or using a belt clip. The buttons and knobs are even simple to use with gloves on.

The R2 has been designed to be used in various environments, including those high in dust or water, thanks to standard dust and water ingress protection.

The R2 has been put through MOTOTRBO™’s Accelerated Life Testing Program (ALT). The ALT simulates up to five years of hard field use to determine if the two-way radio functions as it should.

Long-Lasting Battery for Your Whole Shift

The MOTOTRBO™ R2 has a slim and high-capacity battery to ensure long-lasting power that’ll endure through a shift and even the shift change.

The R2’s high-capacity battery can last up to 26.5 hours, while the slim battery option can last up to 22.5 hours.

Additionally, a press of the helpful push-to-talk (PTT) button will activate an LED light, which blinks red to signal it’s time to charge the battery.

An Intuitive User Experience

The R2 was created to be intuitive and easy to use. Its suite of features can improve productivity and help your workers stay in communication throughout a busy day.

This powerful two-way radio has an innovative curved PTT button that makes it convenient and quick to locate.

Customize your experience further using the Remote Speaker Microphone accessory, which allows you to activate the two-way radio, without touching it.

Upgrading workforce technology can require adjustment, although you can make it easy, with the R2.

The MOTOTRBO™ R2 has a user interface similar and familiar to those using the CP200d. It’s also compatible with certain MOTOTRBO™ chargers and accessories, which makes for an easy and affordable radio migration.
