On August 1, 2023, Callum Wallace will begin a Flight for Hope. This is an around-the-world journey that aims to raise one million dollars for Home Suite Hope.

Home Suite Hope is a Canadian organization that helps marginalized mothers and their children overcome homelessness. With a high success rate, Home Suite Hope has helped 30 single parents and 52 children, so far.

When embarking on such a journey, reliable communication is vital. BearCom is thrilled to provide Callum Wallace with satellite communication equipment for his flight.

Meet the Pilot and His Wings

In 2020, Callum earned his Private Pilot’s certificate with Spectrum Airways. He’s passionate about flying and caring for his local community.

Callum will be flying a V35B Beechcraft Bonanza plane. This light, four-seater aircraft is known for its comfort and speed. It’s also well-known for making personal transportation via airplane a possibility.

The Route

An around-the-world flight requires careful planning and plenty of stops across the globe for fuel, food, and sleep.

The flight will begin in Burlington, Ontario, and head across the ocean, with stops in Iceland, France, Crete, Sri Lanka, and even Bali. There are at least 33 stops across the world in various countries—all over the span of two and a half months!

BearCom is providing satellite communication devices that will allow Callum to communicate with his team and anyone else he may need to contact as he flies.
