The Vertex Standard EVX-5400 digital mobile radio is compact and precision-engineered to deliver value without sacrificing quality. The EVX-5400 is part of the digital technology eVerge line from Vertex Standard. As with all Vertex Standard mobile radios, the EVX-5400 comes equipped with Emergency Alert for enhanced driver safety. The Vertex Standard EVX-5400 digital mobile radio operates using the TDMA protocol for spectrum and power efficiency and lower total equipment cost compared to FDMA. Each Vertex Standard EVX-5400 digital mobile radio comes with 32 groups/512 channels with Direct Channel Entry, six programmable keys with eight-character display, and more. Digital mode features include texting messaging, privacy, one-touch access and 128-record contact list.
