BearCom is adding the new Vertex Standard EVX-531 two-way radio to our product line, and officials here are predicting it will be a popular choice among customers looking for a talk-and-listen radio with dual analog and digital functionality.

Two-Way Product Line

"The Vertex EVX-531 fits perfectly into the simple talk-and-listen space that is still the most popular," said BearCom's Product & Purchasing Manager, Hugh Johnston. "Because it's dual-mode analog and DMR digital, it's fully compatible with existing digital systems, including MOTOTRBO from Motorola Solutions, for basic applications." Established in 1956 with headquarters in Tokyo, Vertex Standard manufactures two-way radio communications equipment sold and serviced through more than 1,000 dealerships in North America. The Vertex Standard EVX-531 is the latest addition to the company's EVX-530 Series of digital portable radios. The series is part of Vertex Standard's new eVerge digital radio portfolio, designed for commercial and industrial customers who use basic land mobile radios for voice communication and could benefit from improved audio quality, coverage, and privacy. A few pro BearCom carries two-way radios from three manufacturers. It currently offers 34 models from Motorola Solutions, 12 from Vertex Standard, and 11 from Icom America. It also offers three BearCom models: the BC95, BC100, and BC130. The BC130 remains among its most popular, especially so when it comes to two-way radio rentals. According to Johnston, "The new radio is on the platform of the Vertex Standard VX-451. It's small, durable, and submersible, is compatible with existing Vertex Standard accessories, and comes with a full three-year warranty. The VX-451 is an outstanding product, and the VX-531 should be as well."
