BearCom Introduces New CLP Series Two-Way Radios from Motorola
Stylish Appearance and Compact Design are Ideal for Retail, Hospitality, and Restaurant Applications

March 4, 2010: DALLAS, TX—BearCom, a nationwide provider of wireless communications equipment and solutions, today announced the release of the new CLP Series portable two-way radios. The CLP1010 (one-channel model) and CLP1040 (four-channel model) are manufactured by Motorola and are now being offered by BearCom.

CLP Series two-way radios are extremely compact, lightweight devices that are purpose-built for task-based applications. They are uniquely designed for comfort, durability, and ease of use, providing reliable, instant communication in demanding retail, hospitality, and restaurant environments.

Measuring the size of a standard business card, the CLP is the smallest and lightest two-way radio in its class, and its appearance is sleek and stylized. Simple, one-button push-to-talk operation provides rapid response times and superior customer service.

Providing a unique combination of style and function, the CLP reinvents the traditional two-way radio by including only the essential elements. The CLP can be used for requesting a price check on the retail floor, coordinating hotel employees to instantly respond to concierge or housekeeping requests, or assisting diners to the correct seat at a busy restaurant.

The CLP Series is also designed for discreet communications. Paired with a comfortable earpiece, the clear, strong audio performance and voice-driven menus allow users to stay connected, reduce errors, and respond quickly to other team members or customer demands without disturbing the customer. The durable construction of the radio can withstand inevitable drops, exposure to liquid spills, dust, and wipe downs. And for added reliability, the CLP offers extended battery life, providing up to 18 hours of service.

This off-the-shelf, ready-to-deploy solution also eliminates infrastructure requirements. When paired with the new Motorola RPX portable repeater, the CLP provides users with increased coverage to ensure consistent uninterrupted communication.
